New Milford High School to Host Marching Band and Color Guard Competition September 26, 2026
NEW MILFORD, CT - The New Milford High School Marching Band and Color Guard will host its annual USBands home competition on Saturday, September 26th. The event starts at 5 p.m. at the New Milford High School Joe Wiser Stadium.
USBands serves as a competitive circuit for scholastic band programs nationwide and prides itself in providing world-class performance venues and the best adjudication in the marching arts to thousands of students each year. This year, USBands will host National, State, Regional and local events in over 25 different states throughout the country. Our home competition will feature performances from our award winning, four time State Champion New Milford High School Marching Band and Color Guard as well as other schools from the surrounding area.
A true family event, this show will provide hours of music and pageantry as the students put their talent on display in a judged competition. Admission for the event is $15.00 for adults and $10.00 for students and senior citizens, children under 5 are free. Cash and Credit Card accepted. A wide variety of food and refreshments will be available throughout the show.
