Staff 2025
Tim has been working with the NMHS marching band full time since 2011. He worked part time from 2006-2009 and was a member of the band 2001-2005. Tim is the band director at Schaghticoke Middle School where he leads 6th, 7th, and 8th grade bands, two jazz bands and is the pit orchestra director for the NMHS spring musicals.
Adam is a native of Middlefield, Connecticut, and he graduated from Central Connecticut State University with a bachelor’s degree in music in 2016. A four-year member of the CCSU Blue Devil Marching Band, Adam served as one of the band’s drum majors in 2015. He completed a master’s degree in music education at the University of Bridgeport in 2020. Adam played baritone as a member of the 7th Regiment Drum & Bugle Corps from 2013 through 2015. Adam worked with the Trumbull High School Marching Band from 2015 through 2018 as both a music and visual instructor. He joined the visual staff of the Newtown Nighthawk Marching Band for their 2018 through 2020 seasons, and he was the visual director at Cheshire High School from 2019 through 2022. In 2023 he became an adjudicator for both USBands and the New England Scholastic Band Association (NESBA). Adam has been on the visual staff at several drum and bugle corps since 2018 including the Raiders, 7th Regiment, and Jersey Surf, where he taught from 2020 through 2024.
Ethan is a recent graduate from the University of Connecticut and is currently working as an Environmental Engineer at Loureiro Engineering Associates. He has had the pleasure of performing with several marching music ensembles including the Cheshire High School Marching Band, the UConn Marching Band, the Connecticut Hurricanes, the Cadets, and the Cavaliers.
David began his marching career in 2005 at the CT Hurricanes Drum Corps playing bass drum. He started teaching hs band in 2007 and has taught several schools, ultimately landing at New Milford hs in 2012. He has taught and written for the CT Hurricanes for 5 years and written music for a few other highschool ensembles. He is excited to continue growing the percussion program at New Milford hs
Taylor Davis is the Director of the New Milford High School Color Guard, having been with the program since 2015. Taylor began color guard at only 11 years old, starting with Bethel Middle School Winter Guard. During her 21 year career, she has marched with Danbury High School, Brookfield Independent, Connecticut Hurricanes Drum and Bugle Corps, Fusion Core, and Emanon World Guard. After retiring from performing, she has taught at Danbury High School, Brookfield High School, Brookfield Independent, University of New Haven Winter Guard, and now New Milford High School.
Sierra is a part-time flag & dance tech for the color guard. Full-time systems engineer. NMHS alumnus ‘19. UConn alumnus ‘23. Blessed Sacrament World member ‘25-26.
Anthony is a percussion arranger, educator, and performer from Port Chester NY. Starting at the PCHS marching band in 2015, he went on to march with the Saints Brigade, United Percussion2, and the Hawthorne Caballeros, where the corps won a DCA World Title & 2 Best Percussion awards during his time. Anthony most recently served as the Percussion Co-Caption Head & Battery Arranger for the Sunrisers Drum & Bugle corps(2024-25). In addition to Green Heat, he serves the Battery Arranger & Instructor at Port Chester as High School, as well aa arranging and offering clinics for multiple schools in the tri-state area. Outside of music, Anthony works in IT for the Port Chester School District and enjoys art, reading, hiking, cooking, and spending time with his friends, family, and dogs. He is excited to begin his 5th fall season at New Milford.
Chris is matching percussion Performer, Educator and Arranger currently based out of Southwest Connecticut. He started his marching career with Stamford High School in 2014 and continued until he graduated in 2018. He then went on to join the Connecticut Hurricanes (18’ 19’ 21’ 23’), Fusion (20’), and United Percussion 2 (20’), marching both snare and quads. His teaching experience started in 2019 with New Milford High School, where is the current battery coordinator and Arranger. He has also taught at the Sunrisers Drum and Bugle Corps From 2024 to 25.
Max is a percussion educator and performer from New Milford, Connecticut. This is Max’s first year back with New Milford after graduating in 2024. His marching experience includes New Milford High School 22’-24’ Indoor and Outdoor, Connecticut Hurricanes 23’, and Hawthorne Caballeros 24’-25’, all seasons on quads. Max is thrilled to be back with the home team and give back to the ensemble that did so much for him!
Roman Trujillo Jr is a Southern California based jazz and classical percussionist, educator, arranger, and drill writer who has made his home in New Jersey. He has experience teaching, writing, and designing for high schools all over New Jersey, Connecticut, and Southern California. He went to college at Riverside Community College and San Diego State University and is currently pursuing his Bachelors in Psychology with a focus in Mental Health and Social Work services. His marching experience consists of marching with Impulse Drum and Bugle Corps, Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corps, and SDSU Indoor Drumline. Once aged out he taught at The Hawthorne Caballeros and The Connecticut Hurricanes. He loves to watch the Los Angeles Chargers attempt to play football on his free time.
